The Leichhardt Practice:
The Practice is located at 216 Norton St, Leichhardt NSW 2040
If you are running late to your appointment, having difficulty accessing the building or if you need help with a pram or similar, please CALL 0411 855 010 (text only for after hours).
Should you be driving to the practice, unmetered on-street parking is available on Norton Street. There is also unmetered on-street parking on Allen St, James St and Francis St; all within 5 minutes walk to the practice.`
The ramp at the street level entry will take you to our waiting area, where you can check in via the tablet at the reception desk. Please take a seat until you are collected by one of our practitioners. Our receptionists are offsite but are contactable on 0411 855 010.
Please note that our consult rooms are downstairs and they currently not accessible for prams. You are welcome to leave your pram in the ground level waiting room or alternatively bring a baby carrier or similar. We working on a ramp for prams! Our Leichhardt clinic is not wheelchair accessible.

General Information
Telehealth Appointments
You will receive a Telehealth video link from hotdoc prior to your appointment and your Nurtured Medical practitioner will contact you if she is running late. For bulk billed Telehealth Appointments (eg follow up), you will be required to give written consent for the appointment to be Bulk Billed through Medicare; as per new Medicare requirements. You will be sent a link from hotdoc or an email from our receptionists about this after your appointment.
Home Visit Appointments
Please make sure you have completed the pre appointment questionnaire 48 hours ahead of your appointment.

Tests, Medical notes or records
If you have had previous tests or medical notes/ records that you would like the team to have access to prior to your appointment, please email the clinic at info@nurturedmedical.com.au with sufficient notice to arrange this to happen.
Lactation support appointments
No need to delay feeding baby until the appointment - if they are hungry, you can give them a short feed and there will likely be an opportunity to feed again during your appointment.
Pre-appointment forms
Please complete all pre-appointment forms - you should have received these via hotdoc. For some appointments there are two pre-appointment forms: one to register as a new patient and another for some further information. You can access and complete the relevant forms from links below if you have not received these forms.
Cancellations
Please give as much notice as possible; cancellation fee may apply if <2 hours notice given
Fees are an estimate only
Please note that the estimated fees on the website refer to the out of pocket cost after you have received your Medicare rebate. The estimated fee sent by hotdoc refers to the upfront fee before the medicare rebate (as such the out of pocket cost will be less than this). Out of pocket fees will be significantly less if your family has reached the Medicare Safety Net Threshold. More detailed breakdown of our estimated fees here.
Invoices will be sent via text, within 7 days of appointment. Your Medicare rebate will be processed by us after successful payment. If your baby is not yet on Medicare then we can issue a paid receipt to process with Medicare after you have their number.
