How can I book an appointment and can I be placed on a waitlist?
Bookings can be made online via hotdoc - we recommend booking the next available appointment type that is appropriate and email us/call us to be placed on the waitlist for anything earlier.
What appointment should I book?
If in doubt, book the next available longer appointment type and email us to check - it is much easier to shorten an appointment than to find a longer appointment slot. If the appointment ends up being significantly shorter than expected, then we can adjust the fees accordingly.
Can I still see my GP whilst I see the team at Nurtured Medical?
Yes! We recommend you see the Nurtured team in collaboration with your regular GP. Because a lot of our team are on the road doing home and hospital visits, the time they have in the GP clinic is limited. We are unfortunately unable to offer general and acute GP services, and recommend being linked in with a local clinic, too.
Can I speak to my Doctor/ practitioner over the phone?
If you wish to speak to your doctor, the best way is to book a telehealth appointment via our website. Otherwise you can email or call our reception to leave a message regarding what you wish to discuss with your Doctor and they will either arrange a call back or recommendation for online booking.
Who should I book with?
Our practitioners have been handpicked for their passion, sensitivity and expertise in caring for parents and their children. We are confident you are in good hands whomever you book with. Our team work closely together and seeing one of them means you tap into the knowledge bank and experience of them all. If you have largely medical concerns then please consider booking with one of our GPs for a face to face appointment.
What are the hours of operation and location
Our reception is available Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Emails are checked throughout the day, and we will endeavour to get back to you within 48 hours.
All our practitioners work varying hours in the clinic and are out on the road throughout the week.
Generally we have appointments available for Feeding/sleep support Monday – Friday and limited appointments available on weekends
GP appointments are available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in our practices.
