Are you a breastfeeding first-responder?

If you're a doula, then you're a breastfeeding first responder.

Yep, you're often the first on the scene when families are establishing breastfeeding/chestfeeding at home, confused by conflicting advice from well-meaning relatives and desperate to meet their lactation goals.

And if you're a physio, acupuncturist, nurse, occupational therapist or other allied health professional, you'll be encountering women who need help with breastfeeding.

Are you confident in how to best advice and support them with the most up-to-date, evidence-based methods?

From pregnancy planning sessions to postpartum visits in those hazy newborn days, doulas and allied health professionals are in a powerful position to help mothers and parents to get breastfeeding off to a great start.

But you need to know what to do, what to say, and when to refer for specialised help - or you could inadvertantly be making things worse.

This in-person workshop is designed to support those who support breastfeeding.
